You're Grounded!


With busy schedules and many tasks on our to do lists, a bunch of hats to be worn and jobs to be done, it’s easy to get lost and out of touch with ourselves, nature and the balance of life. Now what I’m about to share with you is not a new concept… But it’s an excellent one! Get Grounded!

Grounding aka Earthing is a natural therapeutic technique that relies on connecting the electric charges found in the earth to you which will have truly positive effects on your body.. . So how does one get grounded… or earthed. It’s really quite simple… Take of your shoes.


Take off your shoes and socks, stand barefoot on the bare ground. Grass, rocks, water, trees, it doesn’t matter.

During covid19 home days, we often went on walks barefoot in a field by our house… My mood instantly boosted and my kids seriously seem way happier… We may have to adapt a hippie dippy lifestyle ;).

Go out in your yard with your kiddos, take off everyones shoes and just stand there breathing for a minute… Walk, run, play and feel your body thank you for connecting to the earth and allowing your body to “recharge”!
